The crochet AI trend (amigurumi filter, fotos tejidas) turns an ordinary photo into something that looks hand-made from yarn: you, your friends or your pet as cute crochet amigurumi dolls, in the same pose and the same place. This page does it from one photo: upload, tap once, and the whole scene is remade in crochet, yarn and felt textures with your real hair, glasses and outfit colours.

How it works
- Upload a photo (JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 8 MB): a selfie, a couple, a group or a pet. Everyone in the frame gets crocheted.
- Tap the button once. The AI redraws the scene as handmade crochet: yarn dolls with your hairstyle, skin tone, glasses and clothing colours, the background in yarn and felt.
- Save or share the result. Your first image each day is free with a small watermark; credits remove it.
FAQ
What is the crochet filter trend?
A trend where a normal photo is turned into a handmade crochet scene: the people become amigurumi-style yarn dolls and the background is remade in yarn and felt. It is also called the amigurumi filter, the crochet AI trend, the yarn doll filter, and in Spanish fotos tejidas or fotos a crochet. This page makes it from one photo with an AI image model, no app and no account for the first image.
Is this the same as the amigurumi filter?
Yes. Amigurumi is the Japanese word for small crocheted dolls, so the amigurumi filter, the crochet filter and the crochet AI trend all mean the same look: you as a cute crocheted doll. The result here keeps your hairstyle, hair colour, skin tone, glasses, clothing colours and pose, so it still reads as you.
Does it work with group photos and pets?
Yes. Couples, families, friends and pets all get crocheted in the same scene, and the composition stays the same. For the most faithful dolls, use a photo where faces are clearly visible and not too small; a group of more than four or five people gets simplified.
How long does it take?
Usually 10 to 30 seconds. If the daily budget is used up, the tool pauses until the next day (UTC).
Is it free?
Your first image per day is free and carries a small drovy.ai watermark. Removing the watermark, or making more images the same day, uses credits (5 per image).
What happens to my photo?
It is sent once to the image model with storage disabled on the provider side, and our copy is deleted as soon as your result is ready (at the latest within 48 hours). Results are deleted after about 7 days. We do not use your photos for training.
Why is there an invisible watermark too?
Every image made with Google's image models carries an invisible SynthID mark that identifies it as AI-generated. We cannot remove it and do not try to.
Can I use a photo of someone else?
Only your own photo or one you have permission to use. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.
